Il Piccolo Albergo Matera is a gem I recently discovered during our family Easter getaway, and I can't recommend it enough! The warm welcome we received at the reception set the perfect tone for our stay. The hotel's prime location, just a short stroll from the stunning old part of Matera, made our family explorations seamless and enjoyable. We particularly loved unwinding on the rooftop terrace, which was a great spot for evening chats with my wife while the kids enjoyed some snacks from the delightful snack bar. Speaking of snacks, the buffet breakfast in the morning was a delicious start to our day! The free WiFi and air-conditioned rooms made our stay comfortable-perfect for planning our mountain biking adventures just outside the city. If you're looking for a genuinely accommodating place in Matera, the Il Piccolo Albergo is definitely worth it!
